After having another transponder available on W6, Nynex engineers have setup a new chassis for a new evolution network and extended the existing infinity lowband network. The new network is available since January 12th and commissionings can already be done by using the Nynex webtool.

The new C10 transponder is on the same polarity than the other existing W6 networks - so, swaps and re-activations can be easily done on the new segment as well. nynex expects a high demand for that capacity as the coverage of W6 over Afghanistan and Iraq is perfect.

Beside this, a couple of VNO networks are already planned to be realized on this Eutelsat segment for ministry and government clients.
