Working successfully with the Nynex provider-based NMS system for the last two years, Nynex works now on a web-based public VNMS. The idea behind it: Giving better control to every VSAT-user/owner. Users with admin-rights and online-access to their modems can add them to their account and select traffic-statistics, terminals-statistics, general config-settings and a geo-map-view. Users without remote access can add terminals by getting a key generated by the modems collector-tool from anyone having access to the modem. Users can add other users and their modems by getting an invitation-code from them. With this, the supply chain can be represented. The launch of the software is planned within the next 6 weeks.
